Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Al-Khalayleh, Minister of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places in Jordan, said that God’s will is to disagree with people among themselves, and man has chosen to be his successor, and God Almighty has not made people a single nation and made people different peoples, indicating that difference is a healthy phenomenon. Opinions is a healthy phenomenon, and therefore there is a wealth of jurists that scholars have left us in the heritage.

 

This came during the opening session of the international conference "Dialogue of Religions and Cultures", which is held by the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, with the participation of more than 35 countries, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and discusses more than (30) papers, and aims to consolidate the language of dialogue between cultures and religions.

 

Al-Khalayleh added: "The Prophet talked in his fragrant biography with many unbelievers and disbelievers, and the dialogue between the Companions and the scholars and the dialogue was dominated by literature, so we need dialogue within the Islamic interior and with the other abroad. The other, "stressing that the dialogue was absent due to terrorist ideological currents, so that some formed a conviction forcing the other to be convinced of what he embraced and convinced.

 

The Jordanian Minister of Endowments affirmed that the mission of scholars and preachers is to follow the correct method of dialogue, pointing out that the companions of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, differed greatly, but we did not see in their differences except affection, and we must have constructive dialogue in our Islamic home.

 

Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Al-Khalayleh, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places in Jordan concluded: “The need today for our dialogue with non-Muslims is greater than before, because the world has become a small village in light of technological progress and social media. In the past, if the plague occurred in a country that does not come out of it, but now, for example, when The Corona virus appeared in China and spread to the whole world, which calls for the necessity of establishing and activating collective human action. Humanitarian action today must be the work of all humanity, and Islam ordered us to open ourselves up to the other. "
