Agadir judicial police officers managed to arrest 3 people, including a woman between the ages of 20 and 26, on suspicion of their involvement in the possession and promotion of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
A security source indicated that "the two suspects were arrested at the level of the traffic control point at the entrance to the city of Tikiwen, immediately after their arrival on a bus to transport passengers."
He added, "The inspection process resulted in finding in their possession 1,350 narcotic tablets, including 1080 (Rivotril) tablets and 270 (Ecstasy) tablets, in addition to two mobile phones and an amount of money suspected of being proceeds of this criminal activity.
He continued, "The ongoing investigations in the case resulted in the identification of a third person suspected of being involved in the activities of this criminal network, who was arrested in Inezgane, in addition to the seizure of a motorbike without number plates and a mobile phone that they had in his possession."
The source affirmed that the accused are detained pending investigation and placed in custody, in order to determine the possible extensions of this criminal activity, and to uncover all the criminal acts attributed to those concerned.
