Studies reveal improvement in some long-term corona patients after vaccinations

The long name Corona disease has been associated with a number of cases of Corona, and according to the report of the "Washingtonpost" newspaper, doctors and researchers in the United States have not reached consensus even on a definition of a long-term corona virus, as they do not know how many people are infected with it, or what all the symptoms may be Or someone who tends to develop problems that persist or start after the virus is eliminated.

A workshop held by the National Institutes of Health in America, which began to deal with these problems, suggested that 10 to 30% of people infected with Coronavirus suffer from some long-term symptoms, and on February 23 of last month, the National Institutes of Health announced that it will spend more than 1.1 billion dollars. Over a period of 4 years to study the long-term effects of Corona.

One small study recently released but not yet submitted for peer review concluded that people with long-term symptoms who were vaccinated were more likely to see an improvement in symptoms, but research conducted at the University of Bristol in England compared only 44 patients. Vaccinate them against 22 unvaccinated patients, and it was designed to determine whether vaccines are safe for people with long-term coronavirus.

The authors said it is possible that actually getting the vaccine affected patients' recollection of symptoms, what they described as a "placebo effect".

Immunologist at American Yale University Akiko Iwasaki said that vaccination is likely to reduce the chances of infection with Corona disease, based on clear evidence that shows that vaccines help prevent disease in the first place, as the vaccines will produce good antibodies and responses to T cells, and it has been proven. Indeed, it greatly reduces infection, whether asymptomatic or asymptomatic.

Iwasaki suggested 3 reasons that vaccines might improve patients' symptoms: First, the T cells, which the vaccine boosts, could eliminate the viral load, or the increased immune response could remove any remaining viral fragments. Or the vaccine may "switch autoimmune cells" if long-term symptoms are the result of an inappropriate autoimmune response.
