Today, Sunday, the first Syrian civilian flight took off towards Moscow after a hiatus of more than a year due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.

 

The Russian news agency "Sputnik" quoted the director of ground operations in the Syrian Aviation Company, Wael Al-Hadri, as saying that: “Civil air transport for passengers has resumed from Damascus International Airport to Vnukovo International Airport in Russia through the operation of a plane belonging to Syrian Airlines, after the Russian government announced Open their skies to international civil aviation. "

 

Al-Hadhiri added, "There is a weekly flight from Damascus International Airport to the Russian Vnukovo Airport and vice versa, taking into account the conduct of Corona checks as part of the precautionary measures to confront the virus."
