A short while ago, the regular meeting of the General Assembly of the Journalists Syndicate began, after the completion of the quorum to discuss the agenda, which includes ratification of the report of the Syndicate Council from March 2020 until February 2021, and the approval of the final account for the year ending on December 31, 2019, and also ending on December 31, 2020 And approval of the estimated budget project for the year 2021.
Voting in the elections is scheduled to begin after the end of the general assembly meeting, to elect the president and 6 members of the Bar Council.
Elections will take place in 32 electoral committees inside the Teachers Club headquarters on the island, in addition to one committee at the sub-union headquarters in Alexandria.
